2010

7th visiting conference took place in Jurmala in 2010. The place was determined by the fact that the work on culture propagation of shooting, on preparation of hunters and training shooting is seriously adjusted in Baltic states. Shooting ranges and complexes, largest of which are established on the base of HA "Jaanikese", official dealer of "BCP" in this region, are actively developing.

There were considered traditional questions of Association (balance of the work per year, cooperation prospects) as well as new projects on the conference.

Great attention was paid to the development of the project "Centaur". It was stated that besides issued calibers .223Rem, .243 Win, .308 Win, pistol cartridge cal. 9x19 "Centaur" with a bullet by Hornady would be soon presented, development of production of traumatic cartridges, in particular caliber 11,4332 was proceeding. Also it was sounded that the direction of application of a cartridge cal. .410 in revolvers "Taurus" was developing, production of cartridges.380 ACP (917) was in the process of setting up.

Heads of company DDupleks (Latvian manufacturer of slug shotgun cartridges) also visited the event.

At visiting of the shooting range of Jaanikese in Valga (Estonia) the participants of the conference got acquainted with the system of preparation of hunters, organization of hunting, shooting ranges in Estonia.

Demonstrative shooting from the pistol and carbine with the use of Barnaul cartridges and traditional shooting competition were held at the shooting range.

Besides the business program there were organized excursions to the picturesque city of Sigulda, a historical part of capital of Latvia - old Riga, and also capital of Sweden - Stockholm.

For the last year five firms initiated the request to enter the Dealer & Distributor club CJSC "BCP". Only one them, namely JLLC "Belohunt" (Minsk, Republic of Belarus), was accepted into the association.

The leader of sales among dealers for 2009-2010 was Hans Wrage, Hamburg, Germany.
